The World Health Organization (WHO) has set recommendations for routine immunization within Member States. These recommendations have been adapted by each Member State to develop country-specific immunization schedules. The routine immunization schedules for countries within the WHO African (AFRO) Region are presented here. Schedules include information on primary infant immunization, adolescent and adult vaccination, as well as vaccines for travellers. Data for these schedules are as provided by each country through the WHO-UNICEF Joint Reporting Form and WHO AFRO regional offices.
